A great real estate listing will definitely capture your buyers' attention but your listing will need an appealing headline and an attractive photo. Appealing headlines will immediately grab their attention while the photo would emphasize the features that benefit them. You can also include the price in the headline so prospects can tell if the property is within their price range.

The headline and photos are not the only 2 elements you need. Here are 3 more elements that you need to complete your listing:

  • Consider Your Opening

The opening statement of your listing should highlight of some of your property’s strongest features in a sentence or two. Perhaps you can state the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Take note of the things that make the property stand out, such as the neighbourhood, the proximity to the surrounding amenities or the distance to the nearest public transportation.

  • Don't Leave It To Your Buyers' Imagination

Your listing's description should outline the property's primary features and describe the value your buyers will get for the price.

Do include the basic information your buyers are looking for, such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and parking lots, unit size, location and any recent renovations the property has undergone.

  • Keep It Concise

When writing your listings, make the property sound interesting and ensure the content focus is on valuable information.

You could describe the property as being located along a “tree-lined street” and the reader will know that the street has ample trees and shade. Avoid focusing on the property’s home décor as those things can be changed after purchase.

Getting inside the minds of your buyers can be a challenge for many real estate agents and it can cause a tremendous amount of frustration and wasted time. Make sure you spend some quality time developing valuable copy for your listings to attract the right audience.
