Brand loyalty has very little to do with money but it has everything to do with how your real estate brand is perceived by your buyers. Your buyers will want to be loyal towards you as an agent, hence, it is crucial that you build a strong brand for yourself to attract and retain more business.

These are the four steps to get you started on building trust in your niche:

  • Define a niche market

Start by establishing yourself as the expert on a particular neighbourhood. Know the profiles of the people who live in that neighbourhood and why they choose to live there.

This may earn you more favours from your buyers and you can expand your area depending on your business goals.

  • Weave technology into your offerings

31% of homebuyers consist of Generation Y millennials who are always looking for properties online or via a mobile device.

Use technology in your business to build a better brand and attract more potential buyers. This can also attract other tech-savvy agent peers which you can work with and learn more.

  • Build a unique online presence

Your online presence consists of social media and a well-maintained website. Constantly update your website with property-related data as well as testimonials from satisfied buyers.

Always keep your audience in mind when it comes to social media as it is not just about posting your own updates but also about listening and engaging with buyers on your page.

  • Be consistent

The most important thing to keep in mind when building a brand is consistency. Be relevant, be true and be genuine to who you are. Be consistent in who you are and also in the experience that your buyers can expect from you.

The buyer experience should be seamless and consistent from search to the time you close your deals. Part of creating and maintaining that consistency comes with building your trusted brand. Developing your brand well not only ensures that your buyers are well taken care of now but also will be in the future when they decide to return for round two.
