Advertising is great for attracting business but the place to make a personal connection to your buyers is in your Agent Profile. Think of it as a piece of marketing which you are using to build a personal brand for yourself. Buyers are looking for wisdom, knowledge and reliability and your Agent Profile page can help illustrate all those elements.

You don’t need much for a great Agent Profile page. All you need are these 5 key ingredients:

  • Your profile photo

This is the first thing you want your potential buyers and investors to notice. Make sure that the photo you upload of yourself is taken professionally.

Remember to smile and leave the goofy grins for when you celebrate your first closed deal!

  • Your background

Be honest and truthful when writing your agent biography as this will help to convince buyers that you’re the best agent for them. Buyers want agents who are reliable, confident and charismatic.

Keep it as short and sweet as you want them to remember the key details!

  • Your property listings

Add your current and sold listings so buyers can see your experience and specialties. If a buyer wants to buy an apartment and you have experience in selling apartments, they will know who to look for.

It is in your best interest to use your past sales as advertising for your skills.

  • Your contact details

Adding your phone number and email address is common but you can also add social media links too. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ are all ready to be added and if you have professional profiles on any of these avenues, add them!

The more modes of contact you have between you and your buyers, the better!

  • Your buyers' testimonials

Testimonials are the key to getting more leads. When a buyer is looking for an agent to work with, they’re going to look for what other people think about them. If you have some happy buyers and/or investors, send them an email and ask if they’d write a testimonial for you.

Never underestimate the power of your reputation and relationships with your clientele.

Having said all that, perhaps it’s time to give your profile a complete makeover. Remember to use great images that speak volumes about you. Be professional but human. Your ‘About Me’ and testimonials should not be longer than necessary but enough to tell your story. Last but not least, include all your social media accounts along with your phone number and email address. With all these in hand, you’re well on your way to building a kick-ass Agent Profile page!
