3 Ways to Tip Over to Buying NOW

So you have yourself a qualified lead and have worked hard towards showing them properties that meet their needs. However, they somehow seem to be on the fence towards making the purchase with excuses like “I’m not sure if it’s the right time” or “Maybe the market might crash next year”.

So how do you respond to this? What can you say? You may be stumped for an answer but good news, we have some compelling reasons on how you can show benefits of buying now versus waiting down the line for a better opportunity:

1: Ownership is more affordable than renting

In general, rental prices in prime areas have gone up. Should you continue to rent the prices are bound to go up year by year. With this in mind, for the monthly value you are spending on your rental you could use this for a fixed rate mortgage and be paying the same monthly payment for the length of the loan.

2: Owning creates wealth

Owning property creates wealth. How so? This is because a good portion of your wealth is calculated based on the property you own that you live in. From a general aspect, we know that property is an appreciating asset despite what happens to the market. The likeliness of a property doubling in value over the course of a decade is there.  This means if you purchase a home worth RM500,000 that in 10 years it will most likely double making it RM1,000,000. Food for a thought.

3: Home prices are increasing

The market can remain fast or slow but bottom line is prices are increasing and more buyers and sellers are coming in to the game therefore creating an increase in demands for homes. This can be proven with historical records of what the area was evaluated for within the course of the last few years. This would be a good reason to consider buying now.

So when proposing your case, try supporting your arguments with your knowledge of the neighbourhood. With this, you can convince your potential buyers that you are familiar with the area and what perks there are to buying now versus waiting down the line.
